✔️ Consignment Drop-Off Guidelines

• Drop-off days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 10am–4pm.
• One drop-off per household per week: Bring a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 30 items TOTAL, combined across all departments—including clothing, footwear, handbags, accessories, and home décor.
• Clothing, footwear, and accessories: Must be in current styles from the last 2–3 years.
• Clothing preparation: Bring items clean, wrinkle-free, and on hangers, one item per hanger, with buttons buttoned and zippers zipped. We do not steam clothing. Items with excessive wrinkles will be donated.
• Home décor: Must be clean, dust free, current in style, and showroom-ready.
• Check the lists below for items we love and brands we do not accept.
• One consignment account per household, please.

Accessories: Accessories are treated separately from clothing. Shoes, handbags, and other accessories must be clean and show little to no wear. Handbags should be in excellent condition, including the handles, bottom corners, interior lining, and zippers. Please check all pockets and compartments for personal belongings before consigning.

Bring accessories in a shopping bag that you can leave with us. Items brought in garbage bags will be declined.

Authenticity: All items must be authentic. It is illegal to sell counterfeit or "designer-inspired" items.

Jewelry: Jewelry consignment is temporarily paused. We have lots of fabulous pieces waiting to reach the sales floor! Jewelry is one of our most time-consuming categories to process, so we’re taking time to catch up. Thank you for understanding!

Consignment Period: Clothing and accessories are consigned for 60 days.

Payment: Consignors receive 40% of the final selling price (minus any fees or taxes) for most items. Designer handbags receive 50% of the final selling price (minus any fees or taxes) if priced over $100.

Clothing We Do Not Accept

• Men’s and children’s clothing
• Bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride/groom gowns, and prom dresses
• Maternity wear
• Undergarments and bodysuits without original tags attached
• Walmart and Meijer brands (see brand list above)
• Amazon Essentials
• Shein
• Business suits
• Victoria’s Secret and PINK brand items

Furniture: We primarily accept current-style furniture purchased within the last 7 years. Select vintage pieces may be considered based on style, condition, and customer demand.

Items the size of an end table or larger require prior approval. Please email photos and a description to info@bestfriendsconsignment.com. Include your name, phone number, and the item’s age, brand, dimensions, and condition.

Home Décor: Items must reflect current styles, be clean, and be in excellent condition. Please bring them in a box or shopping bag, carefully wrapped and protected.

Please Bring Items Showroom-Ready:

• Lamps must include working light bulbs.
• Battery-operated items, such as LED candles and clocks, must include working batteries.
• All items must be clean, dust-free, and ready for display.

Consignment Period: Furniture and home decor items are consigned for 90 days.

Payment: Consignors receive 40% of the final selling price (minus any fees or taxes) for home decor items. Large furniture pieces receive 50% of the final selling price (minus any fees or taxes).

• Broken or damaged items
• Oil paintings
• Gold-framed pictures more than 5 years old
• Precious Moments and other collectible figurines (we do accept Lladró)
• Items left unsold after a garage sale
